Up and down

As a college student, I had the opportunity to spend a couple of days one-on-one with Clive Cussler at his home in Colorado. He's a very nice guy. He had me go up to his guest room and told me to come down when I had 10 pages of new stuff written.

I went down about 2 hours later. He pulled out a pen and proceeded to hack it to pieces. Then he sent me back upstairs and told me to come back down when I fixed it.

Three days and about twenty pages later, I had learned a lot.

There you go man, this is the kind of anecdote and blog post that is going to make this blog rock. Unlike Facebook, you will get more traffic. Just be sure to filter out the crackpots.

Play around with the side widgets for links and sign up for Ad Sense, too.

Tags and categories are very important to also drive traffic to your blog and you can also add these with the widgets.

Also there should be a widget for how people can subscribe to this blog as well as for recent comments.

Check out Feed It or Neo Worx for cool counters.
